What began as a small group of friends exchanging wine from personal collections to raise funds for one organization has evolved into one of the top ten charity wine auctions in the United States.  Friends of the Children is pleased to have been selected again as one of the five benefiting charities from the 2009 Classic Wines Auction.

The event, will be held March 7, 2009 at the Oregon Convention Center. Last year, the Classic Wines Auction had a record breaking year raising over $3 million for our communities neediest children.  Friends of the Children – Portland is proud to have been invited to return for the 25th Anniversary of the Classic Wines Auction along with Metropolitan Family Services, New Avenues for Youth, Trillium Family Services, and YWCA Clark County.
