Classic Wines Auction Oregon Convention Center March 7, 2009 What began as a small group of friends exchanging wine from personal collections to raise funds for one organization has evolved into one of the top ten charity wine auctions in the United States. Friends of the Children is pleased to have been selected again as one of the four benefiting charities from the 2008 Classic Wines Auction. The 10th Annual Friend Raiser Friends of the Children Offices May 7, 2009 Friend Raiser is a unique evening of philanthropy where almost 700 of the communities business and social leaders come together, while also enjoying gourmet foods from Portland’s top restaurants. The evening begins with a silent auction and wraps up in the “big tent” with a live program that highlights the many talents of our program youth followed by a brief live auction.
